A successful launch concert for the Chambristes du Grand Montréal!

On April 10, Les Chambristes du Grand Montréal launched their first album during a concert at the Cabaret Lion d'Or, a magnificent art deco hall and one of the few remaining 1930s cabarets in Montreal!

Les Chambristes du Grand Montréal transported spectators to the world of Dvorak with his iconic works, the quartet op.96 (“American quartet”) and the quintet op.81 (movements 1, 2 and 3), one of the best known along with those of Schumann, Brahms and Franck.

In the first part of the concert, guest artist, Karl A. Rozankovic performed compositions from his latest albums, Liminaire and Anecdotes, in addition to playing an original composition with string quartet, Für Meine Mutter.

Those interested can purchase the album for $20 on the Conservatoire de musique de la Montérégie website:
