Saint-Lambert Games to Benefit Cancer Research
Back to directory

Every year since 2002, Dr. Volker Blank and his committee of volunteers have been holding the Saint-Lambert Games to Benefit Cancer Research at Seaway Park.

These Games welcome participants of all ages (3 years and over) for half a day of outdoor Olympic-type activities. The whole family can take part in the Games, which feature non-competitive sports activities for children and their parents:

  • sprinting,
  • long jump,
  • shot put,
  • famous potato-sack race,
  • tug-of-war.

The goal of the Games is to encourage youngsters to be active while raising funds for the Cancer Research Society (CRS). The activity has raised more than $88,000 so far for this good cause.
