Les Tenants des Arts et de la Culture (TAC)
Back to directory

Les Tenants des Arts et de la Culture (TAC) is a not-for-profit association that was founded in September 1991. It brings together people aged 55 and over who are retired or semi-retired, and 80% of its members must be Saint-Lambert residents.

It is the first association of its kind to have brought together people in this age group who are interested in the arts and culture and has accreditation from the City of Saint-Lambert.

It offers many varied courses, activities, trips and outings. All our courses are given in French at the recreation centre during the day, from Monday to Friday. By contrast, our cultural activities and outings provide opportunities to discover different regions of Québec. To find out about the content of our courses and cultural activities, we invite you to visit our website.

The annual cost of the membership card is $25 for Saint-Lambert residents and $30 for non-residents. The card is valid from September 1 to August 31 of the following year.

Our association remains active thanks to our members, our volunteers (who help organize our program and cultural activities), and our seven-member board of directors.

Funding

Our funding comes from the sale of membership cards and from the courses, cultural activities and outings we offer. We receive no grants or outside aid.
