The first community organization in Québec to offer services to caregivers who are looking after an elderly loved one, the Centre de soutien entr’Aidants was founded on June 4, 1990 to address a community need.

It’s MISSION is to support caregivers by offering a range of services that help them look after an elderly loved one while preserving their own physical, psychological and financial health.

The organization’s VISION is to enable all caregivers to assist their elderly loved one with peace of mind.

The organization’s actions embody the following values: RESPECT, COMMITMENT, HUMANISM and QUALITYR.

The Centre de soutien entr’Aidants offers workshops (exhaustion prevention, self-esteem, stress management, and accompanying a loved one at end of life), thematic monthly meetings (coffee meetings) to support caregivers in their role, individual support, assistance in processes, talks, and a Caregiver Recognition Day. To facilitate access to our services, we also offer free transportation, provided by volunteers.
