A wonderful concert was held on March 29th at the Saint-Lambert Church, featuring the AOJM and guests from the Conservatoire de musique de la Montérégie. The opening performance was by the Chambristes du Grand Montréal, who brilliantly performed Vivaldi’s Four Seasons.
The Chamber Orchestra’s version of Vivaldi’s Four Seasons by Richter will take place on May 4 at 3 p.m. in the Cinquième salle at Place des Arts.
Also on the program was a performance of the Accolay Concerto, accompanied by the orchestra and brilliantly performed by Sebastian Medina, a student of Anne St-Cyr, violin professor at the Conservatoire. The concert concluded with Brahms’ magnificent Symphony No. 3, conducted by Georges-Etienne d’Entremont, conductor of the AOJM.
