La Société chorale de Saint-Lambert présente J’ai tant dansé, son concert du printemps
Il réunira plus de 50 choristes accompagnés par deux pianistes jouant à quatre mains et un percussionniste, sous la direction de Gabrielle Gaudreault, cheffe de chœur et directrice artistique.
PROGRAMME DU CONCERT
Placée sous le thème de la danse, cette soirée entraînera le public de la valse au tango, du ballet à la danse folklorique.
Le chœur interprétera des œuvres marquantes, dont les Liebeslieder Walzer de Brahms, The Dance d’Elgar et la Pavane de Fauré, tout en mettant à l’honneur des compositeurs d’ici, tels que Gilles Vigneault, Lionel Daunais, Louis Desjarlais et Laura Hawley. Ce parcours musical se poursuivra vers la Roumanie, la Malaisie et le Brésil.

La Société chorale de Saint-Lambert est le premier chœur centenaire au Québec, le troisième au Canada. Il a été fondé en 1919.

The Saint Lambert Choral Society is proud to present its Spring concert, J’ai tant dansé (Oh, How I Danced)!
The evening will unite over 50 choristers, accompanied by two pianists playing piano four hands, and a percussionist, under the direction of Gabrielle Gaudreault, conductor and artistic director.
CONCERT REPERTOIRE
From the sweeping waltz to the passionate tango; from classical ballet to lively folk dancing; dance is the inspiring guiding thread chosen to bring the musical program to life.
The choir will perform several highly renowned works, such as Johannes Brahms’ Liebeslieder Walzer, Sir Edward Elgar’s The Dance, and Gabriel Fauré’s Pavane; as well as proudly showcasing and honouring homegrown works and local artists: Gilles Vigneault, Lionel Daunais, Louis Desjarlais, and Laura Hawley. Our musical journey will then take us around the world: travelling to Romania, Malaysia, and Brazil.
DID YOU KNOW?
The Saint Lambert Choral Society is the first centenarian choir in Quebec, and the third in Canada. It was founded in 1919.
